Hello, Classes are in full swing now and everyone is busy.  We would like to welcome a student teacher to the department.  Mr. Kavannaugh is with us for the month of February.  He is teaching the Grade 12 University/ College class and all is going well.  Ms. Quaglia has been with the department taking some classes for Mr. Shust.  She has helped the students out tremendously.  Thank you to her for all her hard work. With this Lenten season fast approaching take this time to reflect on ways that we can make small positive differences to the lives of those around us. Next week the grade 10 classes will start retreats. Pray for them as they reflect on their relationships. God bless.

 Students and teacher in the department had a very busy day on the 27th.  They assisted the Goodfellows organization and  raised over $600 dollars and around 350 cans.  The cold weather did not dampen their spirits as they went door to door in the local neighbourhood asking for the donations.   This was not the only charity shown by the students.  Ms. Marcuzzi's religion class also helped to create many knitted hats for newborns earlier this month. This is the Caritas spirit at work.

The students are in the full swing of things now.  Some students are working on ISU's and Prayer Services.  Other students are going to be attending retreats.   Ms. Marcuzzi's class has had guest speakers teaching students about their rights and responsibilities as workers.  Soon midterms will be upon us so students should get in those assignments.
