Grade 12 students in Ms. Cozzolino Giorlando's class learning about food insecurity around the world and fair trade from Engineers Without Borders. The Food for Thought presentation gave the students an understanding of how lack of resources and unfair trade practices can keep countries in poverty. The Fair Trade presentation helped students understand how small changes in consumer practices can build solidarity with producers from around the world.
