  Hello Everyone, Christmas is coming!  A wonderful time of year.   Today we decorated the classroom doors in Ms.Cozzolino Giorlando's class to brighten up the hallways for the season.  The students wrote some uplifting messages for their peers to add to the doors.  Have a very Merry Advent and Christmas season.

We couldn't take the grade 12 students out to Holy Family Retreat house this year but Mrs. Beausoleil still managed to give them a retreat on October 27th.   They reflected on their time at Brennan and looked towards their future.  Here is a picture of the students doing an activity with paper airplanes during their retreat.  

Well, a month has gone by and we have been working very hard to provide a smooth transition for our students in the Catholic Studies Department.   We have been using a variety of different resources to help students feel connected while learning in class and from home. Some of these resources are Nearpod, Quizzez, Quizlet, EdPuzzle, Kahoots, Jamboard, and more. Each one provides a way for students to practice their skills and have fun.  The new Webcams are also a way we are trying to give our Cohort D students the feeling of being in class.    This Quadmester the Department consists of: Ms. Meneghini teaching grade 11 world religion. Ms. Ibrahim teaching grade 10 religion. Ms. Cozzolino Giorando  teaching grade 12. We would like to welcome  Mr. Senjanin teaching grade 9 this Quadmester.  He is new to F.J. Grade 11 world religion students from Ms. Cozzolino Giorlando's class and some of our NON profit SHSM students learned a great deal about issues facing First Nation peoples at the REEL Canada Indigenous film festival.  They watch Kayak to Klemtu about a girl fighting to save the water and Rise about pipelines and their impact.  The information in this e-mail is intended solely for the addressee(s) named, and is confidential. In solidarity with the Goodfellows our Brennan 1st semester Religious Students went our to collect cans. They collected over 500$ and over 300$ worth of cans.  Great work everyone!
